Categories
A category is the finance classification you apply to an account. Categories are what let reports and billing review slice hours the way finance thinks about them.

The seeded categories
Aevon seeds four categories so you have a sane starting point:
| Category | Typical use |
|---|---|
| Billable | Client-billable work |
| Capitalized | Work that's capitalized rather than expensed |
| Operational | Day-to-day operational work |
| Internal | Internal, non-billable work |
Adding your own
Click + Add category to create one that mirrors your finance taxonomy. Each category has a name and an underlying type (the classification it rolls up to — billable, capitalized, operational, internal). For a custom category the name and type can differ — for example a Pre-sales category with the type Billable — so reports group it correctly while the card still reads in your team's language.
Use Edit and Delete on any category card to manage it.
